Our Story

For more than two decades, we cooked in professional kitchens across Italy, France, and Canada — experiences that deepened our respect for tradition, sharpened our skills, and strengthened our passion for authentic flavors. Those years shaped not only how we cook, but why we cook: to share good food and bring people together.

Opening The Italian Counter in Napanee was the natural next step in our journey. We wanted a place where the community could experience authentic Italian flavors every day — from fresh pasta made with our Italian machine to deli sandwiches, imported specialties, and desserts like tiramisù and cannoli.

This isn’t just a deli. It’s a reflection of our heritage, our years in the kitchen, and our dream of offering Italian food that feels both genuine and welcoming.
